I was at GenCon UK yesterday, helping John Nephew and Jonathan Tweet talk about the past, present, and future of
Ars Magica. Jonathan talked a bit about the features of the game he thought were the most important, and fortunately we plan to keep most of them in Fifth Edition. Things like the magic system, the Stat + Skill + Roll vs. Ease Factor mechanic, and wizards as highly powerful characters.
It was also nice to meet a few more
Ars Magica fans I'd talked to online -- having faces for names is always good.
