Reprints in the Works

Besides sending a new Ars Magica book (Realms of Power: Magic) to press, we also have ordered up three reprints:

Covenants for Ars Magica 5th Edition
The Mysteries Revised Edition for Ars Magica 5th Edition
Over the Edge 2nd Edition RPG core rulebook

We expect that we should have these reprinted titles back in our warehouse by early July. If you can't wait that long, you can purchase all three of them as downloads from e23 without delay.

Once again our many thanks to Erik Tyrrell for updating the Shape and Material Bonuses unified indexes, organized either by Bonus and by Shape/Material. They cover all Ars Magica 5th Edition products through Art & Academe. He also updated the Spell Index by Form and by Technique.

Unfortunate Expeditions

In the Gloom card game, you make your eccentric family of misfits suffer the greatest tragedies possible before helping them pass on to the well-deserved respite of death. Just mix the 55 transparent cards in this set together with your copy of Gloom to add morbid new Modifiers, Events, and Untimely Deaths, and a new family of intrepid explorers who've faced misfortune across the globe. These days Colonel Bumpersnoot is really more of a bargain hunter, while Lady Bumpersnoot struggles with high society? but she always loves to have guests for dinner. Their Towering Treehouse is included as a Residence card to use with the Unhappy Homes expansion.

Realms of Power: Faerie.

You mustn't call them by name - they are the "good neighbors," the "fair folk," the "gentry." Don't draw their attention, for those they notice are drawn into their stories, which no mortal can survive unchanged. Stay away from the edges of the dark woods, respect your superiors, and do what society expects. Or the faeries will come for you!

Virgil the Magical Cat

There is now a new section on the Ars Magica 5th Edition page entitled "Other characters flesh out the covenant and the surrounding area." This section was added in honor of "Virgil the Magical Cat", a character which was built using the new rules from Realms of Power: Magic.

Three New PDFs Today

Three additional out of print titles are now available for purchase as PDF downloads today from e23. They are:

• Realms of Power: The Infernal, for Ars Magica 5th Edition
• Triamore: The Covenant at Lucien's Folly, for Ars Magica 4th Edition
• Statosphere, for Unknown Armies

I should note that we do plan to reprint Realms of Power: The Infernal at some point, but the other two titles are out of print for good.
