Hedge Magic Revised on the Schedule
Our next
Ars Magica release will be
Hedge Magic Revised Edition. We've officially set the release month as November, and sent out the formal solicitation to distributors. In case you haven't seen it before (it's been in the "Coming Soon" area on the website for a while), we do have the
description of the book online as well.
Just to give folks a heads up, the suggested retail price on this book
will be $29.95, but there's a good chance that we'll have to see price increases in the not too distant future. I think we began going with the current hardcover/$29.95 format/price for
ArM sourcebooks back in October 2002 with
Blood and Sand, so we're going on six years without a price increase. Needless to say, our costs have risen over that time frame. Using the Minneapolis Federal Reserve Bank's handy
inflation calculator, we can see that $29.95 in 2002 dollars adjusted for today would be $35.89. I don't know right know when or how much we'll increase the MSRP on future books, but it will need to happen sooner or later.
