A transparent card game from Atlas Games
You and your friends are newbies at the Renaissance faire. Food, music, mock combat ... it sounded like some kind of off-beat rock concert! Problem is, you stick out like a sore thumb. In a crowd of buccaneer hats and faerie wings, you're the only ones in shorts and t-shirts. Now you and your friends have one afternoon to assemble the ultimate Renaissance costume, but you're low on cash and the only way to earn more is to perform for the crowd!
In the Ren Faire
card game, your goal is to outfit your Character with Costumes whose icons fill the slots on it. To do this, you play Performance cards that award you coins for doing silly stunts, then buy the transparent Costume cards that stack above your Character card.
is a light-hearted card game for 2 to 4 players, ages 13 and up. Play time is about an hour. It features an innovative transparent card design, and Performance cards that are sure to keep everyone enjoying the game.

Ren Faire Variant Set-Up
In games with 3 or 4 players, the standard Ren Faire rules require only 5 or 4 Costume slots to be filled to win, instead of the normal 6. Instead, try this variant. It takes more time to set up, but helps to make Performance cards with Costume requirements easier to play right away.
For 3 players, sort out all of the Costume cards with 1 icon (don't include null spaces), and randomly give one to each player. For 4 players, sort out all of the Costumes with 2 icons (don't include null spaces), and randomly give one to each player. Shuffle the extras back into the Costume deck. It takes the full 6 slots to win using this variant.
