Delightful Doom: The World of Gloom

The sky is gray, the tea is cold, and a new tragedy lies around every corner…Gloom is a world full of eccentrics who delight in misery. Players control a family of misfits, including Characters such as Lord Slogar, the Brain in a Box and Goody Zarr, the Nefarious Nanny. The goal? To make your Characters as miserable as possible before they die, and to make other players' Characters horrendously happy. Players are encouraged to narrate their Characters' misfortunes and mishaps, creating unique stories of suffering with each play session. May the most miserable soul win!

Sublime Suffering: The Look of Gloom

The Gloom games feature innovative transparent cards and evocative, gloomy art reminiscent of Edward Gorey and Lemony Snicket. They look delightfully dramatic on the gaming table, and layered cards interact with each other, revealing and obscuring points on cards beneath to make calculations easier.
